Terry Metzger is president and chief executive officer of Boston Financial. Terry was appointed to this position in July 2009 and is a member of Boston Financial's executive committee.
Terry began his career with Boston Financial in 2004 as chief operating officer. He led Boston Financial through a period of unprecedented growth in its client base and developed the organization's relationship management program and service model transformation. These initiatives positioned Boston Financial to provide unprecedented levels of quality service and expand our impact to our customers' success.
Before joining Boston Financial, Terry was at DST Systems for 24 years where he last held the position of vice president of the client services division. In that role, Terry was responsible for DST's remote customer relationships, including Boston Financial, and oversaw the development and management of client-dedicated service teams. Terry also serves on the board of directors for United Way of Mass Bay and IFDS Canada.
As Chief Operations Officer for Boston Financial, Trish leads the company's business operations, which includes all client operations, contact center, and processing groups as well as the support operations across the company. She is also responsible for the delivery of the company's smart-sourcing strategy. In her role, Trish leverage's Boston Financial's technology, infrastructure, scale, and talent to help clients achieve sustainable improvements in business performance and reduce operational risk.
Trish's broad experience and expertise span more than 30 years in the financial services industry. Earlier in her career, Trish held various roles in operations management within Boston Financial. In 1985, Trish joined the Stock Transfer division of Bank of Boston (later became Equiserve) ultimately serving as Managing Director of Operations. Trish rejoined Boston Financial as vice president of operations in 1997.
Craig joined Boston Financial in July of 2004. Craig has 31 years of mutual fund transfer agency experience in which time he has been responsible for managing numerous operational and support groups including: financial control, transfer agent and blue sky compliance, tax reporting and withholding, intermediary compensation, transaction processing and offshore distribution and servicing.
Craig is currently responsible for the regulatory oversight of Boston Financial's Transfer Agent activities as well as all operational aspects of Boston Financial's compliance program including a 22c-2 full service solution and Blue Sky administrative services. Additionally, Craig represents Boston Financial in periodic Regulatory Compliance Advisory Group Sessions (RCAG) and is active in the industry, serving on the ICI Transfer Agent Advisory Committee, ICI Abandoned Property Task Force, ICI State Related Issues Working Group, ICI subcommittee on Money Market Reform (Institutional vs. Retail), NICSA Compliance Risk Committee, the Securities Transfer Association and has been a speaker at numerous industry events.
Joy is the Chief Human Resources Officer, responsible for creating dynamic human capital plans, facilitating cultural change and transforming high-performing organizations. Joy has oversight for the Human Resources organization, charitable giving and employee communications. Joy is also a member of Boston Financial's risk management, leadership, executive management, and head of the retirement plan advisory committees.
Prior to joining Boston Financial, Joy was a senior vice president at State Street Corporation, where she was responsible for providing strategic support to the State Street Management Committee and their global lines of business. She led efforts in support of; succession planning, launching new lines of business, and HR considerations of mergers and acquisitions. Her experience also includes human resource roles at other financial services and technology companies.
Joy is an active member of a number of professional associations and frequently serves as a speaker on talent related issues and opportunities. Joy is a member of the Board of Directors of New England Human Resources Association, a member of the Board of Overseers for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay and a Governing Body Member of Evanta CHRO Leadership.
Joy holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts and a certificate in HR Management from Bentley College.
Jay joined Boston Financial in 1994. He is currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) responsible for the Company's finance functions, including accounting, treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing and financial planning and analysis. He is also responsible for the Company's Real Estate, purchasing and facilities functions. Prior to becoming CFO, he directed the Company's Internal Audit function for five years. Jay is a member of Boston Financial's Risk Management, Leadership, Senior Management, and Retirement Plan Advisory Committees.
Jay also represents the Enterprise as CFO of International Financial Data Services Limited Partnership.
Prior to joining Boston Financial, Jay was a senior manager at a major bank in Boston. His experience also includes several years with the Boston office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Jay is a CPA, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jay is also a member of the Board of Directors of Boston Partners in Education, Inc.
Jay holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Boston College.
